KAYF-LIFE: Complete Edition Released

KAYF-LIFE: Complete Edition was released on Steam on 3 September 2026. The modification requires an owned copy of Half-Life 2 and is distributed free of charge. Within days of release it had accumulated more than 150 user reviews at 94 percent positive and reached the top of Steam s Trending Free listing.The project is a parody of Half-Life 2 with an alternative storyline and replacement voice acting styled after the amateur Russian film dubs common in the late 1990s and early 2000s. It originated in 2006 and has been reworked repeatedly, with a Reloaded version in 2011 and a remake in 2017. The Complete Edition is the first Steam distribution of the mod and combines the main game with the Page One and Page Two chapters.Work by the Antinomy Collective for this edition covers a graphics and user interface overhaul, an expanded weapon set, tighter balancing, and additional mechanics, enemy detailing, easter eggs and secrets.The channel post notes that the Steam install button may not appear immediately after the page goes live, and suggests either adding the title to a wishlist and installing from there or invoking the steam://launch/1950750 protocol handler directly.
