The Incident
The Cold War forced the USSR to satisfy the demand for bacteriological weapons. Soon one of the major industrial cities was overgrown with a network of military camps and secret underground laboratories.
The best scientists were brought from all over the country to work in secret scientific and production associations.
During one of the experiments, a scientist forgot to equalize the pressure in the chamber, which caused the biofiltration unit to burst and release bacteria into the air.
The spores of the bacteria were blown away by the wind to the nearest city. In the morning, many citizens felt unwell. Some fainted on the way to work.
The troops sent to eliminate the consequences quickly lost control. The soldiers went mad.
To investigate the causes of the disaster and contain the outbreak, the government sent specially trained agents into the quarantine zone.
You are that agent. Explore dangerous locations, fight through the infected, descend to the lowest levels of the laboratory, and uncover the truth behind the catastrophe.
